Yes! As you may already know if you have a Siamese Fighting Fish (or Betta), you must only have one male per tank or they will fight. However, they can live peacefully in a tropical tank with other small community fish so long as there is enough room in the tank.

Good tank mates for fighting fish are small fish such as Neon Tetras, Ember Tetras, Cardinal Tetras, Pristella Tetras and Harlequin Rasboras. Just remember these are all schooling fish, so will be happiest if you keep a group of at least three in the tank.

Just be sure to make sure your fighting fish gets their share of food at feeding time – smaller fish can be more zippy and gobble all the food before they get a chance to eat.
